Universal Lighting Technologies — Message to our Customers
Valued Customers,
Like you, we are dealing with the uncertainty of the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As we continue to monitor the evolving situation, we remain steadfastly focused on our commitment to the health and welfare of our employees, suppliers, visitors and customers.
We are at your service. In order to protect the health and safety of our employees, we have asked team members to work from home and refrain from non-essential travel. This transition has been smooth, and we will continue to support all normal business activities. Our customers and partners can reach all sales team members through their regular telephone numbers and email addresses. We have turned our meetings into opportunities to engage while following social distancing guidelines. We appreciate your flexibility and value our partnership.
We are committed to our supply chain. Our manufacturing supply chain is designed to provide business continuity. Currently, we do not foresee any impact on our ability to supply products nor do we foresee immediate upstream impacts. The recent trends towards lighting being considered an “essential business” allows us to keep our distribution centers running, and I am feeling more confident in our ability to remain operational. We will continue to look to the future and remain vigilant.
We are problem solvers. Recent weeks have demonstrated how connected we are to each other and to the health of our communities. While we do not yet know what additional responses will be necessary, we want to assure you of our continued commitment to supporting your local essential lighting needs and keeping your business running smoothly. The leaders across our organization are collaborating to dynamically adapt and augment plans where needed.
Please never hesitate to contact any member of the Universal team. Working together as partners, neighbors, friends and family, we look optimistically forward to the day when our local markets are returned to normal. We wish you and your family, safety and health during this time.
Best regards,
Mark Verheyen
